Macro and Still Photography
Macro or "close focus" photography opens up a world of detail in still subjects and small fauna of which the Algarve has plenty. These images are taken with the subject almost touching the lens to bring out super-fine detail and vibrant colour.
Macro and more general still-life photographs can be taken in the studio or outdoors and rely upon good lighting, careful focusing and to a lesser extent on the lens quality of the equipment used.
